Great property. 9 of us had plenty of room. Had a couple of issues & they were taken care of the next day. Highly recommend.

We rented this house with 9 adults and it was absolutely amazing. The house was in great condition, perfectly designed for entertaining. The view and the outdoor space made it so that we never wanted to go inside. We did have a small issue with the A/C, but that was addressed very quickly. The house is located in a very hilly area, but it's still walkable to the main road and back. If you need a driver, ask to be put in contact with Henry. I have no doubt that he is the best driver on the island.

The home is lovely just like the pictures. The view was breath taking. More than enough room for a group of 7 women with room to spare. Close to plenty of restaurants, grocery store, night life and the dock for boat trips.

We had 2 families stay at the house, 10 of us total. The layout was perfect. The location was amazing if you’re for views minutes away from the action.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Opal. The grandkids loved the pool and their were plenty of rafts and chairs and sitting areas for everyone. The house has a beautiful view. There are quite a few dogs in the neighborhood and are very noisy even at night. I would recommend a stay at Blue Opal .

Blue Opal is a beautiful and absolutely perfect home to enjoy a vacation in Sint Maarten! The home itself is incredibly well appointed and the pool is delightful! As soon as you walk in the door, the view will take your breath away. There are so many thoughtful touches that you would want – as simple as a bathing suit hanger in the downstairs master bathroom shower, to double washer and dryers so you are never without clean, dry beach towels. The kitchen is truly equipped with everything you could ever need – there is a regular coffee maker and a Nespresso machine as well. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the home. The property itself was also beautiful and the gardens were perfectly groomed. There are beautiful trees all around and I loved listening to all the birds every morning with my coffee.

The owner was wonderful at communicating and answering questions, and she has the most amazing management staff in IRE Vacation (the management hosts on island). Maia was outstanding at communicating with me many times before we arrived and while we were on island. Maia and Cathy could not have been more helpful! There was even a welcome package with water and drinks in the fridge and bread and jams in case you needed a quick bite before you went to the market. So thoughtful!

One thought – this is an island where you will definitely want to rent a car. This house is up in the hills, and it really is not conducive to walking to many attractions. There are so many beaches around the island, but you do have to drive there. Mullet Bay, Pinel Island, and Karakter in Simpson Bay Beach were some of our favorites. Plus, you will want to eat in Gran Case at least once! To travel around the island all day and then come “home” to Blue Opal was a dream come true!

Perfect family villa. Location was very convenient to restaurants shopping and excursions. This villa has everything a large family will need. The outside views was amazing. This was our second summer in SMX and we can’t wait to return.

Blue Opal Villa boasts contemporary amenities like Bluetooth surround sound systems both outside on the pool deck and inside. The decor is beachy without getting kitschy. Little details like Aqua-line and Aroma toiletries, Jonathan Adler coasters, a Nespresso machine, and a well-equipped bar set this property apart. The second-floor master bedroom is a highlight with glass walls and panoramic, sweeping ocean views that will wow. There’s a tastefully appointed outdoor shower with a pergola so guests can take a shower under the stars!
This house was made for entertaining and is perfect for multi-generational, large family gatherings. The seamless flow between indoor/outdoor dining areas, multi-level deck, chef's kitchen and outdoor BBQ are large enough to accommodate larger groups comfortably.
The villa is centrally located with great shopping, dining, casinos, beaches, and houses of worship within easy access.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming - they were able to accommodate our early check-in request and were available via WhatsApp throughout our stay to assist with any questions or concierge services we needed. Thank you IRE Vacations and Blue Opal villa. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at Blue Opal. The views were amazing, the pho use was beautiful and pristine. The amenities and communication was also excellent. Definitely recommend and hope to stay again!
