There are a few bridges along the main roads on St. Maarten/St. Martin that are good to be aware of. When they are open, allowing boats to travel through, the traffic can be backed up for an extended amount of time. For your information, we have provided the daily for each bridge between both sides of the island so you can plan your day accordingly.
Simpson Bay Bridge (Dutch Side)

10:30 – Outbound Vessels
11:30 – Inbound Vessels
15:00 – Inbound Vessels

17:00 – Inbound Vessels
Simpson Bay Causeway (Dutch Side)
10:00 – In and Outbound Vessels

Sandy Ground (French Side)
09:00 Monday and Thursday – Inbound Vessels
17:00 – Tuesday and Friday – Outbound Vessels
